The Racing Edge ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
- Account details. When you create or use a member account, our authentication provider Clerk processes details such as your email address, account identifier and, where provided, your name.

- Usage data. Like most websites, our hosting and service providers may collect technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location and pages viewed to keep the service secure and improve it.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Clerk, Stripe and our hosting providers may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain security and remember preferences.
How we use your information

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers that help us run the site, including hosting, authentication, payment processing and analytics providers, and only as needed for them to perform those services. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain financial records and meet our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information, subject to any information we are required to retain.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
